bastille musique presents its tenth release »Wolfgang Rihm: Dort wie hier« featuring world premiere recordings by Hans Christoph Begemann (baritone) and Thomas Seyboldt (piano). The album includes Rihm’s settings of poems by Rückert, Mörike, Lessing, Goethe, Michelangelo/Rilke, Ekelöf/Sachs and Heine, all composed between 2006 and 2015. In addition to these SWR recordings, the set also contains a 60-page bilingual booklet (EN, DE) with articles by Janis El-Bira, Thomas Seyboldt, an interview with the composer, the complete lyrics and autograph pages from the album’s eponymous composition, as well as two photo leaflets of the composer and the artists.
